Past Volunteer Programs
Previous Volunteer Programs hold many valuable lessons on how to improve our performance, as well as innumerable precious memories for our volunteers. Some of them are collected in RCEF's Handbook for Short-Term Volunteer Teaching in Rural China, which can be downloaded for free by clicking here .

To date, RCEF has successfully organized and completed four Volunteer Programs. In 2005, 16 international Chinese volunteers hailing from China, the USA, Singapore, and Canada participated in the first RCEF Volunteer Program and went to 4 villages. In 2006, RCEF brought 32 young adults from 7 countries in North America, Europe, and Asia to 8 village sites, as part of the second annual Volunteer Program. In 2007, our program grew to encompass 9 sites and the participation of approximately 70 volunteers. In 2008, we focused in on one geographic region and involved the most rural teachers ever. We invite you to explore what our volunteers did and what results they obtained.
