Integrated Practice Curriculum

Integrative Practice Class is a primary school subject which emphasizes hands-on, community-based learning. It helps students learn more about the challenges and opportunities facing their surrounding environment. However, most rural schools don't teach this class because they don't understand its purpose well and lack practical teaching methods and training. RCEF Teaching Fellows are developing practical goals and methods for this class which include aspects of interdisciplinary project-based, place-based and service learning.
